Running a retail business often feels like juggling a dozen tasks at once. Between managing inventory, tracking shipments, and keeping customers happy, it’s easy to lose sight of the bigger picture. But true growth comes from understanding your data, not just reacting to it.

The Store Dashboard within your Shop Admin panel is designed to be your central command center. It transforms raw numbers into a clear, visual story of your business's health. Whether you are monitoring daily sales, checking pending orders, or analyzing seasonal trends, this dashboard puts control back in your hands.

By mastering this tool, you can move beyond simple day-to-day management and start making data-driven decisions that boost profitability and efficiency. Here is everything you need to know to navigate and utilize your Store Dashboard effectively.

Accessing Your Command Center

Before you can analyze your performance, you need to know how to get there. The system offers flexible ways to access your specific store view, ensuring you can get the information you need quickly.

You can navigate to the dashboard using three primary methods:

  1. Directly from the Side Menu: If you already have a store selected, simply click "Store Dashboard" (look for the home icon) in the left sidebar.
  2. Via the Stores List: Navigate to the "Stores" section to see a dropdown of all your locations. Click on the specific store name to enter its contextual view, then hit "Store Dashboard."
  3. Direct URL Access: For the fastest route, bookmark the direct link: /shop_admin/stores/{store_code}/dashboard (remembering to replace the placeholder with your actual store code).

Once you arrive, check the breadcrumbs at the top of the page. They should read Dashboard > Store Dashboard, confirming you are in the right place to view store-specific data.

Pulse Check: Understanding Key Metrics

At the very top of your dashboard, you will find the Statistics Cards. These are color coded for quick identification and provide an immediate snapshot of your store's current status.

Operational Vital Signs:

The first row focuses on order flow. It is crucial to monitor Pending Orders to prevent bottlenecks in fulfillment. You can also view total counts for Shipped and Delivered Orders, giving you a clear view of your logistics efficiency.

Financial Health:

The second row breaks down your money flow. You can compare Sales (This Week) against Sales (Last Week) to instantly spot growth or decline. If you have the appropriate permissions (non-sales members), you will also see Purchase metrics, allowing you to balance revenue against procurement costs.

The Deep Dive:

Click the "Show More" button to reveal a broader set of financial and operational metrics, including:

  • Total Expense Amount: A sum of all expenses, including taxes, to help you calculate net profit.
  • Returned Orders: Keep an eye on this count to identify potential product quality issues.
  • Store Rating: View your average customer review score to gauge satisfaction.
  • Total Sales Due: Monitor outstanding balances to ensure healthy cash flow.

Visualizing Success: Sales and Product Trends

Numbers tell you what happened, but charts tell you when and why. The Charts Section provides two powerful interactive tools to help you identify patterns over time.

Sales and Purchases Analysis:

On the left, you will find the Sales and Purchases line chart. This visualizes completed orders and purchase orders over the last 12 months. By viewing these trends simultaneously, you can identify seasonal spikes, plan inventory for busy months, and spot growth trends that might be invisible in daily reports.

Top Selling Products:

On the right, the Top Selling Product pie chart highlights your winners. It displays the top five best-selling items based on quantity sold. You can filter this data by Week, Month, or Year. This is an invaluable tool for inventory planning—ensuring you never run out of your most popular stock during peak sales periods.

Streamlining Operations with Latest Orders

Below the charts, the Latest Orders section keeps you grounded in the present. This table displays the five most recent complete orders, sorted with the newest first.

This isn't just a static list; it’s a management tool. You can quickly view:

  • Customer Name and Order Date
  • Payment & Shipment Status (e.g., checking if an item is "Paid" or "Shipped")
  • Financial Details including Order Total, Paid Amount, and Due Amount

For sales members, this view is personalized to show only assigned orders, keeping the focus sharp and relevant. If you need to dig deeper, the blue "View All Orders" button takes you to the full order management page.

Beyond the Dashboard: Your Management Toolkit

While the dashboard gives you the overview, the side menu acts as your gateway to action. The Shop Admin panel seamlessly integrates every aspect of retail management.

  • Inventory & Stocks: Manage everything from product variants and departments to stock transfers and adjustments.
  • Sales & Marketing: Launch promotions, manage deals, and oversee loyalty points to drive customer retention.
  • Financial Management: Track expenses, manage cash drawers, and generate comprehensive reports like Profit Loss or Tax Reports.
  • Staff & Users: Configure roles, manage staff members, and oversee delivery riders.

Take Control Today

The Store Dashboard is more than a reporting tool; it is the heartbeat of your retail operations. By regularly monitoring these metrics, you can catch issues before they become problems and identify opportunities while they are still fresh.

Log in to your Shop Admin panel today. Check your pending orders, review your top sellers, and start making decisions backed by real-time data.
